In the twilight's gentle sigh,
where hopes once soared and would fly,
a tender heart begins to break,
as silent stars above forsake.
...

You give me the bottle,
You tell me 'drink up',
It smelled awful,
But Ill drink it when I know it's corrupt.

juliana stevens Biography

From the beginning I started writing a lot and was always fascinated by poems and mini stories that people wrote so I started to practice and payed more attention in language arts. Aside from school I would practice on my own at home and on weekends I would write all night. So I started writing purely off inspiration and the dream of being a poet or author. And hopefully I can look for peoples opinions and other poets pointers and maybe I can reach that goal.)

A Whisper Of Shadows

In the twilight's gentle sigh,
where hopes once soared and would fly,
a tender heart begins to break,
as silent stars above forsake.

The echoes dance on winter air,
of laughter lost, or deep despair,
each tear appear upon the skin,
a testament to what has been.

Beneath the weight of whispered lies,
fragile trust bends, and courage dies.
Yet in the dark a flicker glows,
a feeling of warmth that softly shows.

So let us mourn what must depart,
yet carry forth this heavy heart.
For beauty lingers in our pain,
like thriving flowers after rain.
