Jocelyn Dunbar Biography

God and His Poet is the title of my book.

My native land is the Philippines, but I migrated to Australia.

I began writing poems when I was 15, inspired by my experiences. All the pain, sorrow, and challenges I've faced throughout different stages of life, along with the troubles and difficulties brought by others, served as both trials and inspiration. What an amazing God we have! He allows these experiences in my life, helping me understand the deeper meaning of existence and showing me how to make things possible through His power. There is nothing we cannot overcome, even in our most despairing moments.

Every trial and suffering I have endured has shaped who I am today. Every wrongdoing from my past has been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, and each mistake has become a stepping stone for my growth.

God creates a path for us and brings beauty into our lives. With my strong faith in Him and the lessons learned from my experiences, I know that God is always by my side, guiding me. We must be open to reflecting on the kind of life we wish to lead, as this helps us determine our actions and priorities.
