Jessa Hughes Poems

1.

pushed threw
to the light
took time to
rekindle the fire
...

forgive me for forgetting your love
forgive me for letting go of mine
forgive for leaving you alone
...

I don't hate you or your new best friend,
I'm not mad at either of you.
But I dare say, William Lee, I did forget him til' you called
It brought the hate and misery of I dare say a little memory.
...

The green, salted ocean; vast trail held them apart
The love he knows and feels so close
Hope that she is true to him as he is her
He blows kisses in the air, hoping the wind will let her see the lasting touch of true love
...

Both are in despair
Lost is love we once did hold
Hate beneath the place, falsehood spoken in the end
The hand you hold it not my own
...

The Best Poem Of Jessa Hughes

Light

pushed threw
to the light
took time to
rekindle the fire
watched sparks fly
the warmth everlasting
meant the world and best to both

the light began to flicker
more frequently
fighting to stay light
couldn’t hold on all its own

the trees around kept so damp
the storm keeping it from stay a lit
pushed threw the light
took time to cover it
keep it lit
did all to keep it glowing

pushed all much as possible
til’ couldn’t it alone
took the breath
took all
blew out the light
light of rekindled love
light couldn’t stay with just one
one couldn’t do it alone.
