He ran to the end, just to find his shadow.
He ran so hard, but the goal left him hollow.

As I look at the stranger in the looking glass.
A vessel once full, has now become hollow,
Still watching close by, but refusing to follow.

We narrowly miss death by the ticking of hands.
One tock sooner and it could’ve been the end.
Is it God’s way of keeping us in check?
Reminding us that this could be our last breath.
