See how the artistry of man silences
Our breath, at the sight of such grandiosity,
Thus soul of proud heritage evidences
Are distinctively resting in beauty.

It began,
It began as a passion so intense, filled with emotions and dreams.
It began,
When their eyes met their gaze longing for a devoted love, it seems
...
How restless and curious we have grown,
Since the ability of thought was our own,
For thoughtful dream in time became desire,
And thriving in challenge put our mind in fire.
...
At break of eve within the dusky reeds
Frivols with easy calm a sound solitaire,
An oft-repeated croak through the startled air,
The say of a heart that for love it bleeds,
...
Upon the dewy ground in silent lies
The wasting bones that carried life so fair,
Which timorous twilight to vision belies
On the mosses carpeting the resting lair.
A humbling feeling pervaded through my soul
Remembering his lyrics in the grove
...
Let's think of visionary form free from change,
Whose has neither beginning nor has end,
And in its continuance seemingly strange,
Embodies all directions in unique blend.
...
I trod in the midst of ancient willows,
When I was transported to an enchanted world,
A dream of beauty, all light, no shadows,
A treasure-trove that to my eyes uncurled,
...
In the voice of love it is forever there,
And for passionate lips to repeat the bliss,
In that in ardor had sealed a pledge most fair,
Never more to part, that love's reviving kiss.
...
There, the light of dawn lightens blossomy tree,
And the many a leaf with velvety swish
Cheers the passing breeze, wandering carefree,
Which grants to each leaf a whispering wish.
...
Restless Spirit! Though you bind in the thought,
And your defiance reaches to all we ought,
To share and love all for which we were born,
With your silence our world would be forlorn,
...
There are moments that fill the soul with dreams,
Obscure remembrances that shut from thought all ills,
As if some light all at once in darkness gleams,
Thus increased loveliness the heart fulfills.
...
For countless time I have been in despair,
Tasting my sadness for her love's absence,
By capriciousness of life so unfair,
Setting my aching heart in turbulence.
...
In a lugubrious, forbidding night,
Reveling thunder seeming cannonade
Arose me from my slumbers in a fright
Prompting vestiges of my dream to fade.
...
It was far too beautiful for art,
The vivid green foliage did spring cajole
With blooms sweetest of all scents to impart,
Refreshing with deliciousness the heart,
...
The wondrous visions and dreams our days tease,
Thus in merrily voluptuous breeze
Flowing in untraced path, fancy free,
Autumnal leaves revolve with flirtatious spree.
...
With lightest breezes breathes the silent eve,
While choicest memories in suspended sighs
Flow on, and in his thought does her vision weave,
Thus a passionate flame flashes in his eyes.
...
Thus in tranquil wandering did I stroll
Upon the sands of solitary shore,
My lengthy shadow seemed to unroll,
Yet the twilight swallowed it ever more.
...
A lonely, shriveled leaf hung from a bough,
Barely trembling in the passage of a breeze,
Chilly, painfully piercing I do avow,
As the grief I am failing to appease,
...
As the opalescent mist ebbs away,
Strewing the leaves in diamond bright array
With dew that at dawn did tenderly pose,
Wherein sunlight would find congenial repose.
...
There is time for most grandiloquence,
For words challenging purest inspiration,
The subject of my rhyme shall be evidence.
My vision was dazed by revelation

Journey To Mount Rushmore
See how the artistry of man silences
Our breath, at the sight of such grandiosity,
Thus soul of proud heritage evidences
Are distinctively resting in beauty.
Magnificent colossus that dispenses
Spiritual awesomeness and majesty,
Rising to greet our hypnotized gaze,
And forevermore would preserve our praise.
There is a pervading solemnity,
The essence of glorious times and lives,
And the seeming echoes of alacrity,
A free and perpetual wind revives.
At length we gaze with eager curiosity,
Filling our hearts with wonderment that thrives,
Yearning to hear our thoughts and their own,
But in their sealed lips would remain unknown.
A colossal struggle that came to age,
Of dream drenched in inspiration divine,
Embodying a nation's proud lineage,
Wherein freedom and equality combine.
To man's will in crises, fate designed to engage,
With sacrifices their welfare to resign,
Yet, reveal their nobility each day,
There, in sight of their dreams not far away.
