I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and poetry has always been what I'm best at, though I never think the finished product is very good. It all comes from what my heart tells me, though, as cliche as that may sound. It's all what I'm feeling, and poetry is the only way I can ever really let it out.
Why so lonely, little girl?
Why do you cry, little girl?
Why do you hurt, little girl?
Why the tears, little girl?
...
Love is when your heart pounds,
And you tap your fingers impatiently,
And get excited to see them,
Hours before you do.
...
Searing anticipation,
And a desire burning hotter than open flame.
I cannot have you,
Yet you've promised me the impossible,
...
My time grows smaller everyday,
I feel as if it's slipping away
Too fast, and it's too hard for me
To say goodbye, as you can see.
