I am the mother/step-mother of eight and of 7 grandchildren. Raised by a bluecollar father and mother, I was illegally adopted at birth. I have survived many things in my life, and they usually come out in my poems. As a former HIV street outreach workers and former chemical dependancy counselor, so of that will probably find a voice also.
I have an AA degree in Human Services and I am a Religous Studies Major, Writing minor.
I am happily married with one child still at home.
