What is meant by marbles? The marbles (those glass spheres we play with as children) - or the marble (the rock) ? I have come across a German translation where it is interpreted as the rock. I have seen both versions in English. Does anyone know? I do not know the Greek version, and I don't speak Greek.

Comparisons are inappropriate. Is a unique feeling when you're at sea and from the Balkan Peninsula.

I have was just introduced to this poet yesterday. He is no doubt on par with Eliot, Pound, Stevens, and Hart Crane.
