George Knott Poems

1.

Friends and their friendship.
I often wish,
That both were permanent.
...

To be a friend
Means you're there
To the end.
...

I must admit,
That when I came into this world,
I didn't expect the pain.
...

If ever I start crying,
There are two people,
Who know everything,
Every explicit detail.
...

When all seems lost
and the end,
no longer worth the cost.
...

I dislike most people.
But there is a group,
Who I could never
Do anything to.

George Knott Biography

My name is George Knott. Until recently I believed that the human race was a lost cause. Thankfully I have recently discovered otherwise. I find myself rather enamored by the magnificent combinations of words we call poems, and have even tried my hand at creating a few poems (of dubious quality) myself. I use various stimulus or events in my life to help trigger my more poetic side, essentially I *literise my emotions. Any feedback on my work would be welcome and most helpful, as my friends and family are far to polite to even attempt to critique my work. *As I am unsure as to whether or not 'literise' is a word, I will include a shot definiton, Literise adjective To try and transfer what is in your head onto paper.)

The Best Poem Of George Knott

Trust

Friends and their friendship.
I often wish,
That both were permanent.

Unfortunately,
things change,
People leave.

Be it due to circumstance,
A word said in anger,
Or an emotion given voice.

In this complicated world,
We live in,
Staying true is hard.

Friendship requires trust.
But trust is a commodity,
Few can afford.

But despite this
I'm going to try for a friend,
And another if that one ends.

Because having someone,
You can trust is a bigger pleasure,
Than anything else.
