George Kaluwa Poems

Your love is non-dimensional
It's full of depths unimaginable
Spreads from the Earth and
Goes beyond the golden heavens
...

I write a line and two for Gani
Hoping that it will flash out the fire of
Sadness and tears from your eyes
You, a man known to have journeyed
...

I smile and smile
A tool at my bosom
That makes me walk a mile
Away from my lowest bottom
...

From the pangs of the past
Extends the callous claws
That craw hope away
From our immortal souls
...

I wish i knew the color of love
Is it red or white
Or a mixture of the two?
...

All things remain the same
Even if we draw them out with shame
Caressing our monies together with Ben
Under the disguise of unhonored contracts with them
...

As your soul retires to bed
To rest from the day's edge
Having closed todays page
Count yourself honored
...

My daughter, I have realized that you have come of age now
Come near this fireplace and open your ears wide
Let them sip the wisdom that I never had a chance to gallop
These women you see
...

9.

A voice once said; don't look for me in the stars
Though their galaxies glitter your soul away
Nor in the sun in its splendid light and heat amazing
Let alone in the big bowls filled with tears from the dull skies
...

God's Love

Your love is non-dimensional
It's full of depths unimaginable
Spreads from the Earth and
Goes beyond the golden heavens
More wider than the unseen horizons
It pushes me closer to thee with
A force like of a yet to come Hurricane

Much sticker than glue and
Mends the broken hearts in souls
Shines more than a millions suns
So pure purging the spirits' ill intentions
More heavy than the collected weight of
Mountains and waters of the Oceans
This is the immeasurable love
Of the one the world saw fit
To nail on a that dreaded tree
