Broken down by the sounds of invention!
Tick tock, tick tock!

I await my lover,
To say the word.
I await the man of my dreams,
To fill my heart with love and joy.

My heart is heavy
My soul is crying
My spirit is crushed
Memories of a childhood so hidden and never shared

Do I cry foul?
Do I scream why?
Should I even ask any questions?
Who will answer me?

I pour my heart out in silence
The pen on paper
Pressing as the depth of my emotions swells
As I ponder and wonder about my emotions
