A Poem Must Be Written One Line At A Time!
A poet who writes poems one line at a time,
Whether he's paid cash or won't get a dime?
Whether he's rich or poor, know that I'm
A poet who writes poems one line at a time!
A poem must be written one line at a time,
Whether it leads to a difficult climb!
Whether its grammar is kept in its prime,

A poem can be cherished one line at a time,
Whether thought precious, profound or sublime!
Whether in prose, in free verse or rhyme,
A poem can be cherished one line at a time!
