Elizabeth Daryush Comments

Another poet relegated to history. No reissues. Should be on the curriculum. A terrific socialist feminist poet. And a syllabic one.

Thank you for publishing poems of Elizabeth Daryush. I found one of her poems by chance in our copy of The Oxford Book of CHRISTIAN VERSE. The title of the poem is 'How on solemn fields of space...' It's a fine poem, once I scramble the words around to see them from the beginning. I think the scrambling helps get the meaning of the poem. Atter the scrambling, though, I replace them to where I found them. Undisturbed, I hope. Best regards, Maggie Hurll
