I was born in Indiana. I am a 17 year old high school student who absolutely loves writing and reading poetry. If you say because of my age I don't know true emotion I will tell you that you are completely crazy. I may be young, but I have tasted the sweetness of some amazing happiness and the bitterness of depression. Please don't consider age just consider what I write. Any comments on what i publish good or bad are greatly appreciated

A need to fit in
Willing to scream and shout
Just for some attention

Our entertainment is watered down
It has become so apathetic
I look around
And it's down right pathetic
