Denzil Straight Biography

I'm a retired disabled Army veteran, I've only been writing poetry since late 1998. I've had two of my poems published at Poetry.Com. I have several web sites that feature all of the poems that I have written thus far. Thats it on me the 'Poet' and about me the person, well (deep subject) , My Father was a WWII and Viet Nam U.S. Navy veteran. I was married twice, been divorced twice, have a 17 year old son from the second marraige. I retired from the Idaho Army National Guard after serving 20 yrs. I married my second wife on May 14,1988 and divorced in May of 1999. Had a complete breakdown in Sept. '98 (They say major depression w/suicidal ideations) laughing abougt that one.Hehehehehe! ! ! ! All I know is I've been depressed for a long, long time. Some of the poems that I've written show that. Enjoy what I have here. I'm sure I'll be placeing a few more here.
