David is a multi-faceted individual, a force for positive change in various realms.
David's life journey began in the suburban city of Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria, where he was born to parents who were educators. His early years were marked by a diagnosis of a genetic disorder, which presented him with unique challenges and a constant battle for survival from childhood. This experience kindled a passion for knowledge, prompting him to embark on a quest for answers regarding life, purpose, and self. This thirst for knowledge initiated his odyssey in the pursuit of self-discovery.
From a young age, David developed a deep passion for literature, finding solace in the world of books due to his fragile health, which often limited his participation in physical activities with other children. His love for literature, combined with his personal struggles, became the catalyst for his gift of poetry and writing self-development books.
His innate desire for self-development and his belief in the untapped potential within each individual led him to establish Gr8 Myndz, a training organization dedicated to nurturing the potential of young leaders. Simultaneously, his passion for improving the quality of life for those born with Sickle Cell Anemia inspired the founding of BOSCEF.
David's experiences and insights gained through his own struggles have made him a beacon of hope and inspiration for others. His life's purpose revolves around motivating individuals to discover their own life purposes and providing them with the tools and empowerment to fulfill those purposes.
Motivated by his faith and love for humanity, David has actively engaged in youth advocacy, initially as a volunteer and later by establishing an NGO. His personal interests encompass reading, enjoying music, watching movies, introspection, long walks, traveling, and, of course, writing and poetry.
David's life is a testament to the power of resilience, self-discovery, and a deep commitment to uplifting others. His multifaceted roles and unwavering dedication to youth empowerment and the well-being of those with Sickle Cell Anemia exemplify the positive impact one individual can have on the world.
</>(This poem was Inspired by the 23rd psalm 'n' the poem Invictus written by William Ernest Henley (1849–1903)
Sore as hell’s depth away from Mercy’s Coast,
The thick clouds of shadows that embraced my Bole.
...
Health fades,
Wealth fades,
Fame fades,
Life and all it holds,
...
Love, sublime celestial flames,
Maid from Paradise hails,
We enter, scorch'd with intense ardor,
O Cherub, your shrine!
...
Wandered down the woods again
Thru' the thicken'd forest saw i,
Y'ur face engrav'd on ev'ry flora,
Lighting the trees with y'ur magic aura.
...
One word can right a wrong
One idea can inspire generations
One hand can lift a burden
One head can quench world crisis
