day by day,
soilders come and go away,
there are too many deaths that i have seen,
...

writing poetry is easy, it's something anyone can do
all you need is a pencil and paper, that's everything including you to write your poem, think of what inspires you, or whom you admire the most
or think of some random things like saint bernards or french toast
the only hard part is reading your poem in front of a crowd

i look at her and smile,
she turns around and waves,
when she turns away i wish that she had stayed that way,
i'm always thinking of her, there is no way to escape
