Small Black Hole

at times life looks
like a small black hole

providing no feedback

nor receiving any

letting you wonder
is this
what you call your home

what does compel one
to vanish in darkness

that pulls with a force
of a black hole

have you ever
seen Run, Joe, Run?

the serial

was closed in 76

& at times I'm like Joe
forever running away

while everyone
shouts run, man, run

I'll tell you I too stop
to find my way back

when
all I see
ahead of me

is a wall.
