Christian Lehnert was born on 20 May 1969 in Dresden.
He read Religious Studies, Oriental Studies and Theology. After a course of studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and longer stays in Berlin and in the north of Spain he now lives near Dresden.
Christian Lehnert is an expert in Christian, Jewish und Muslim religion. He is the director of studies of theology, contemporary history and culture at the Protestant Academy Saxony-Anhalt.
