Catman Cohen first appeared on the music scene in 2005.
Thereafter, Catman Cohen released four CDs that included several political songs.
In creation of his 60 song library and his many poems, Catman Cohen only released shadow photos of himself in order to place the focus upon his work.
As a shadow musician, he performed duets with Transgender artists, Emos, Goths, Suicide Girls, Jewish rappers, Latin choirs, dancing violinists, and other offbeat types.
In 2024, Catman Cohen finally stepped out of the shadows and provided his first print interview to an international magazine.
He revealed his legal name (David Cohen) and a single photo of his face.

To the nightmares in my head
...
When she stepped out of the shower
In pale wet skin
And splendor
...
