i am what is said to be a late bloomer. after raising two beuatiful intelligent sons and the death of my husband of 42 years, i had my awaking. i started to write poetry 3 years ago. i have no training or creditials, nothing published or printed, except by poetry.com. i love my life in southern italy. i live on a cliff above the sea that flows into the sky with my black cat, topalina, the demon
aka principessa nera.
i am proud of my poetry and believe it is good and that i have something to say and that you will at least enjoy if not learn from what i write.

the lemon tree of Amalfi.

to hear my mother's song and fairies tell
of shahrazad and nightingales.
