I couldnt take it with me,
If I did, it was the shell.

Guess i'll be on my way, my love,
Until we meet again.
I wouldn't stray too far, my sweet,
For our love has no end.

If i held you once more, just know,
I couldnt let you go
Id wrap my love around you tight,
Morning sun through dead of night.

There is no competition,
Nor, any reason to compete
My life with you so prevalent
Is a life I can't complete

Here's to us,
Our kids,
And our futures, where they don't hear doors slam and raised voices

If I could talk to you right now, I'd say I'm proud of who you are,
You know what you deserve, right now, your head and not your heart

You're as perfect as a one could be, in every single measure,

If this is what normal is,
I don't like it, not one bit
Outside of myself I see so much beauty
The mundane looks like a holiday
