I live in a small town in Indiana. I go to school and I'm a major band geek, though my heart is in writing as well as music.
I write what I feel and about things that have happened to me or my friends. I always love reading other people's poetry excpessially when it's personal. The universalism in most poems is nice, but I really love to read about a direct feeling or a direct event. But that's just me.
Blindly, you handed her your already bandaged heart
She is careful at first,
Almost staring in wonder, and seeing what limits she can stretch it to
She needed to know, just how much she could put you through.

Tell me not what tomorrow holds
Tell me not why I should be scared
Tell me not the many ways you'll miss me
Tell me not of all I will miss in your life
...
I can feel it when I brush your face with my finger tips
I can feel it when you look at me with your blue-green eyes
I can feel it when you hold me
...
“I love you”
I can take that lie
“I need you”
I live with that one as well
...
I’ll always remember the day
I was writing in my notebook
Alone in the woods by our bunks
I was already thinking of you
