the day I decided to choose between the world and its Creator.
At that moment, faith was beside me,
hiding behind the shadow of my own shadow.

my best friend, my claimed soulmate
would stab me in the heart,
and look me straight in the eye

Everybody knows pain, a mere word with no frame,
A word without a flame.
It's funny how I've gone through the stages,
The stages of pain that no one seems to discern.
