for the victims, June 4, 1989
Gone is the violence I witnessed
The fruits it engendered
...
Coiled flat or running circles on the sea
Plying emptily, the needle's eye
Vast settling of debris
...
To talk with the imaginary you
Sunshine, we sit side by side
You hesitate and move away
...
The iron forcefully extended
Is closing in on you
Silence becomes a faraway look
Full of fear, beyond me
...
