Baron von Savage Poems

I implore you to,
Open your eyes fool
And your ears too,
Your vigilance is crucial in these streets that seek to devour you.
...

The earth
Shall inherit the flesh
Back from whence I came
The dirt

I died today.
As I did yesterday.
I will surely die tomorrow.
And so I accept my fate.
...

Whenever I felt down or afraid
They would receive me with opened arms
They would embrace me,
And they would calm me down

The Streets

I implore you to,
Open your eyes fool
And your ears too,
Your vigilance is crucial in these streets that seek to devour you.

These streets,
Are more than tarred roads
Pavements
And concrete they have a pulse,
A rhythm,
And if you listen closely
You can hear their heart beat,
Vibrant and violent.
