Summertime Sadness,
It's where it all began,
Where it destroyed me completely,
I wish I could find the real me.

Poetry is for the broken

It's all about rhythm and lies,
but only the writer could know what it's all about,
...

Feeling the cold wind breeze,
remembering every detail about last night,
I wish it was just a dream,
It's the love I gave away, but lost
...

Rain, rain, go away,
O, Silly rain makes my heart ache,
laying down on a pile of rain,
is this one of your silly games?
...

Oh, Dear Life I am the one to blame,
for closing my eyes,
but opening my heart,
lost in the darkness, the night changes

Summertime Sadness

Summertime Sadness,
It's where it all began,
Where it destroyed me completely,
I wish I could find the real me.
But how can I find me, when I don't know who I am?

The Summer breeze was hot,
and so was my room,
dancing in pitch black,
when night comes, all I do is look at the ceiling,
still trying to find out who I am,
or where to even look,
you can't blame me for this misunderstanding,
or can you?
I wish I had the answers,
Summertime Sadness.

Glancing at my reflection,
the lake showed me someone,
oh, that someone I don't recognize,
Oh! If only I knew who it was,

Driving down the road, beginning to search for myself.
I may have found me,
or maybe not yet,
sad song on repeat, to see if I can relate.
Perhaps I don't,
Perhaps it's just a dream.
