It caught my eye
The look she gave me

Never faltering

What is love
Other than pain

Pain in mind

I wish the voices were different
The good from the bad

I wish they were separated

I thought I deserved better
For many years I did

But before those many years

You yell into my face
My skeleton face

No skin to be stained by tears
...

Tell me what to think
Tell me what to say

Take away my life and then tell me how to live it

Sunny has this energy
This bright, suffocating energy

It makes me feel warm
...

Everyone keeps moving
Keeps going toward that sight
That strange sight that's too bright for me to look at
But they all seem fine
...

It's not bright when it's midnight
The night simply doesn't change

But everyone loves that brightness
