Assayouti Jalal as popularly called is a Yoruba native of Nigeria. He is the third child of the family of eleven. He had his basic, secondary and tertiary education all in Kwara State of Nigeria. He is an alumnus and a postgraduate student of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin-Nigeria. He is a lover of literary works and writers especially poetry. He has several poems to his credit many of which are published locally and nationally in some universities annual magazine. His debut collection of poems is presently under publication. He is an extrovert and a football lover.

My arduous vary ways
In the quest to secure for old-age
Never will I deterred

If all I may say this time
Will fall-deep into your heart
And run through the veins to your brains,
I would need not to swear
...
Woe unto a luscious life
Transcending ubiquitous cliff
But plunge in the afterlife
And dwell in immortal grief
...
What else would be a mystery
Than this picture in my memory
Giving my sight an imagery
Of the fairy tales of the ancestry
