Arunlal Mokeri was born in Mokeri, Calicut, Kerala in 1982. He finished his PhD in English Literature from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad in 2012. He has translated screenplays of Malayalam films to English for International Shakespearean Studies Desk, headed by Prof. Mark Thornton. Arunlal Mokeri has translated to Malayalam the philosophical writings of Bertrand Russell under the title 'Manushyanum Yukthichinthayum.' He has several published articles and translations to his credit. He currently works as an Asst. Professor at Dept. of English, Govt. College Mokeri, Calicut, Kerala.
