Aneek Chatterjee Poems

I cried near the ocean
Waves only giggled
...

The guy who plagiarizes your poems
loves your work; and
probably you
But he loves himself more
...

Let me count tears
before the war begins
Let me sense wounds
before the war begins
...

Dark clouds and lightning
always seem to be frightening

on sea. But they reflect life
...

I like speed and height
Hold me tight
If you want to jump
...

I composed love poems
said the poet
Human relations, rush of
the adrenalin
...

7.

Rains came
at 11 a.m.
on punctured tyre and broken chain.
On John's tin roof
...

Golden is the colour
of darkness; dazzles,
brightens every nook and corner
honoured and ornamented.
...

Who cares who I am
Dusts settle down after the storm
ignited my passion, id
The bus takes a sudden turn
...

When the sky turned red
near our favorite town, all sailors fled
the turbulent sea
...

My boat is ready for you
Feel free to sail through

the blue waters, away from shore
...

Bright hot morning.
Went for a walk
on pleasant green grass
Got bruised and injured
...

One day I'll quit the field
Curious eyes accusing fingers
adorable faces
...

A hen with her seven
little chicks was travelling
along the rail tracks,
happily, without fear.
...

I don't know how to swim.
I tried many a times.
In sea, near the shore,
brown sands always fill
...

My skin was peeling off
and bones from inside laughed.
It could not adjust to rays
from all ‘loving' eyes.
...

The vast, ancient ceiling was
ridiculing me from above.
Suddenly I doubted my existence
and felt like a tiny insect
...

Every tree is like the front door of
an abandoned house that remains open, always,
irrespective of arrivals and departures.
One by one, many have left this abandoned house,
...

She sent me to the river
to bring water she believed
best for her plants.
Her garden had many colors
...

Let me tell you
I still dream, not to
change the world, but
to change myself.

The Best Poem Of Aneek Chatterjee

I Cried Near The Ocean

I cried near the ocean
Waves only giggled

I shouted peace on the desert
Sands everywhere slept cold

I unfurled the white flag in the hills
Pines and Ferns stopped whispering

Chilly breeze in a winter evening told the Bay
The world is playing decay
