Anaïs Nin Comments

Does anybody know where she says the quote on Miller? HUGE fan of hers and do not recall reading this ever in her diaries and especially about Miller. Unless of course it is a chopped quote where she elaborates that while she didn't love his language she loved other things about his writing. If that is the case I would like the full quote because what is above is very deceiving, especially since she is a driving force behind the launch of his writing career.

Her comments about her father reinforce my belief about the Christian comment 'Thou shalt honour thy father and mother' which is - Why? Because they are older, your parents, wise, live in the same house, drink too much, abuse you, live as criminals, run an international aid agency? Respect is EARNED, not imposed by some animal sacrificing primitive's idea of what I should do according to HIS mores. Hurrah for Anais.
