Born in 1916, the son of a Greek Military General Almighty got used to moving often. Born in Italy, when he was 3, his widowed father moved to Crete, Greece, where he was born, and put him up for adoption. Hadley Okley adopted him and they moved to New York. When Almighty was 19, he moved out of his home and went to Nice, France, where he wrote most of his still unpublished poetry. He was a part time model for designer clothes, but when he retired at the age of 39, he sat in his home in France, and wrote poetry and books. Then he moved to Sparta, Greece, where he still lives today, resting and writing, resting and writing.
