Ahmad Mahmood Imperator is a poet, artist, and visionary from Afghanistan. He was born in the spring of 1985 in Karte Seh (District 3) of Kabul, into a family with proud ancestral roots in the mountainous and culturally rich province of Badakhshan. He stands today as a unique and multi-dimensional figure in Persian-language literature—where poetry, visual art, voice, and insight converge in service of beauty, humanity, and truth. Among lovers of poetry and culture, he is affectionately known as "Yusuf Thani" ("The Second Joseph") and "The Poet of Hearts"—titles that speak to both his graceful presence and the emotional depth of his words. His poems blend mysticism, love, justice, sorrow, and hope—offered through a smooth, rhythmic language that touches both intellect and soul. Imperator is not only a poet; he is also a graphic designer, visual storyteller, and powerful voice in poetic recitation—weaving words, images, and sound into a singular expressive harmony. ما را نه طالع دست گرفت و نه عافیت
یعنی همیشه خاک درم وقتی نیستی
در چنگ حادثات زمان گیر کرده ام
پر میزنم شکسته پرم وقتی نیستی
بر من نصیحت کسی کی می‌کند اثر
دیوانه‌ی ز گوش کرم وقتی نیستی
دستم تهی و دست به گریبان خود شوم
فارغ ز مال و گنج و زرم وقتی نیستی
شعر و ادب خطور به ذهنم نمی کند
گویی که فردی بی هنرم وقتی نیستی
دنیا که با وقاحت خود می‌کند ستم
با مرگ میشود گذرم وقتی نیستی
قدر مرا فقط تو بدانی و بعدی تو
چون شامگاهی بی سحرم وقتی نیستی
محمود را مپرس کجایی چه میکنی
در جاده های پر خطرم وقتی نیستی
