I'm 15 and I've been living in the U.S all my life. My interests include reading [fiction novels and poetry], abstract photography, sketching, punk/emo music, having a good conversation, aim/msn, writing, and many more. Typically, I like writing fiction. However, as of maybe the [second? ] week of September '09, I was inspired to take up poetry as an emotional release. SO, I haven't been doing this long, so my poems most likely aren't that good, or well written. I hope you can at least decode, and like the messages behind them: P. I'm open for any interpretations you may have. If you're curious on the background of a certain poem, don't hesitate to ask, I'd love to share =]. They all reflect me in some way, shape, or form.
Heart pained passions fly to dusk,
Hide them here, all but there,
Tell me dear, what’do I hear?
Naught a word, silent tears.
...
And where might you reside,
Within these clouds-
Trapped in time you bide,
Or sincerely passed, and gone?
...
Broken pencil tips, whispering lips,
Hearts ablaze, and hearts destroyed;
Things I’d muse, confide in you,
If, misconstrued, their pact prevailed:
...
In the open crowd, a cavalcade of faces,
A minority in the menagerie; his prison,
And on his brow a quake, a quiver,
Behind those eyes the dams of depression,
...
In screaming silence, minds will shatter
And bleed dry the terror of a thousand hearts;
In silence our minds will lock, will warp—
Silence will scream a thousand secrets
...
