'कुछ पंक्तियाँ हृदय गुल्लक फोड़ के'

क्या पता मिलें कब किस मोड़ पे
व्यस्त हों सभी जाने किस होड़ में
ले आया हूँ पंक्तियाँ तेरे लिये मैं
झुलाता हूँ तुझे मन ही के झोड़ पे

लिखे हुए में जने कितने ही खोड़ थे
कभी हाथ नहीं तो कभी नहीं गोड़ थे
(फिर भी) ले आया हूँ पंक्तियाँ तेरे लिये मैं
भागते मचलते शब्दों को मरोड़ के

कौन रस ऐसा हो जो कवि छोड़ दे
अचल सवार वो तो मन के घोड़ पे
(अतः) ले आया हूँ पंक्तियाँ तेरे लिये मैं
भाव विभाव अनुभाव भी हैं थोड़ से

तो एक एक मन के तार को जोड़ के
निज अंदर बसते अहम को तोड़ के
(प्रयत्न कर) ले आया हूँ पंक्तियाँ तेरे लिये मैं
इस हृदय की गुल्लक को फोड़ के
